Quotient are recruiting for a Supply Operations Lead to join the Supply Chain team based near Penicuik, EH26 0BF. The post holder will be responsible for leading various strategic initiatives that aim to enhance Supply Chain operations.

This includes developing the fundamentals for automation and new supplier selection, development and management which all contribute to a reduction in supply risks and drive overall Supply Chain optimization.

The post holder should use analytical techniques to make demand driven decisions and develop strategies and solutions for continuous improvement which contribute to the ongoing development of core processes and business projects.

This role is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The main responsibilities will include:

Leading all indirect Procurement initiatives across the business (R&D project support, Contract lifecycle management, Supply agreement).
Supplier Relationship Management activities (onboarding, score carding & supplier development).
Provision of specialist support for other related Procurement activities, Logistics, P2P cycle & MRP strategy.
Coordinating all upstream reporting and routine forecasting requirements for the Supply Chain department.
Working collaboratively with approved planner/buyers & suppliers, ensuring the requirements of internal customers are fully and accurately captured.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Educated to Degree level and/or demonstrable experience in an operational role within a GMP regulated environment.
Excellent problemsolving, collaboration, negotiation and prioritization skills when faced with rapidly changing priorities.
Exceptional organizational and planning skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Procurement, Direct Sourcing, Data driven and/or project management background is advantageous.
CIPS/IOSCM accreditation is desirable.
