Our client is a leasehold property management and surveying services specialist based in Newhaven and they are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to join their friendly team.


To be considered, you will have had experience within a property accounts role, experience managing a team, be highly organised, numerate, and able to muti-task.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching and supporting staff when producing service charge and ground rent invoices.
  • Dealing with issuing relating to the production of invoices
  • Paying supplier invoices which are above staff limits
  • Approving the arrears reports for all staff for their probationary period
  • Dealing with/assisting staff with arrears up to and including Stage
  • Actively learning the details of the arrears procedure beyond stage 3 (currently supervised)
  • Assisting staff members with the preparation of the yearend accounts
  • Answering Accountant's queries, if they cannot be answered by the member of staff
  • Approving the bank reconciliation for all staff
  • Helping with issues relating to bank

This position comes a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
