BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Community Housing Officer with travel based around the Northumberland, Durham and Newcastle area for a local housing association.

This is working with General Lettings and Leasehold.

As Community Housing Officer you will take a digital first approach to service delivery, providing a highly visible community-based service, engaging with residents on a day-to-day basis.

You'll respond to residents' queries and feedback in a timely manner, always striving to improve customer satisfaction.

Using your knowledge of housing management, including voids, lettings, income collection, anti-social behaviour, and tenancy management, you'll deliver a responsive and sensitive service to those who are at risk, making referrals where appropriate to relevant agencies.

You'll strive to improve the quality of life of residents through effective case management, providing an attractive environment and creating better neighbourhoods leading to successful and sustainable communities

Have CIH level 3 in Housing Management or equivalent or the willingness to work towards it.
Have experience in a similar role and of working in a dispersed team.
Be confident in presenting information to Court, Mediation or Tribunals
Be responsive to residents individual needs

This a temp to perm position,

17.5 hours per week job sharing with another colleague.

You must be a driver with access to a vehicle

The salary is £23,500 plus car allowance £1,500 per annum
