    Who we are?

    Squeezed Media (sqzd.) is a content creation agency that focuses on storytelling to deliver results for brands across the UK. We specialise in animation and video production, providing an end-to-end service for primarily B2B clients. We're a small, friendly team who all do our part to add value and creativity to every project.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are on the lookout for an Account Executive (maternity cover) to support the growth of our client portfolio, which includes some big blue-chip clients in the UK. This is a multifaceted role and would be suited to someone confident in building relationships while staying on top of demanding project management duties.

    With the support from the Senior Account Manager and Creative Producer, you will be required to build and develop client accounts, communicate client briefs and expectations and manage project workflow from start to finish to deliver on time and within budget. You must be assertive in maximising retention and revenue through sales activity, you'll need a good eye for detail and excellent people skills. This role can be quite demanding at times as you'll manage multiple projects at once, but we're a collaborative and supportive team and when things get busy we're all happy to pitch in and help out. 12-month full-time contract.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure all project documents, briefs and assets are meticulously organised and kept up to date
    • Work closely with the creative team to gain a thorough understanding of a client's brief, determining the full scope of the project
    • Manage production workflow and maintain an informed and up-to-date overview of all active and incoming projects
    • Quality control across any projects you're managing, ensuring each aspect is delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard
    • Manage any changes to a project's scope of work, ensuring project margins are maintained and any necessary changes to project budgets are flagged to the Senior Account Manager
    • Track spend and manage client budgets fastidiously, ensuring internal resource allocation is logged accurately and external supplier costs don't exceed the allocated rate
    • Help set up and attend client shoots when required, writing call sheets and ensuring all runs smoothly on the day
    • Maintain, build, nurture and grow relationships within existing and potential new accounts
    • Collaborate with the team to produce creative pitches to win new client briefs
    • Covering for other production and account staff when required

    About You

    • Not essential, but, ideally someone with B2B video and animation experience
    • Also a bonus if you've worked in or with the corporate or professional services industries
    • Excellent relationship skills - it is essential that you develop relationships across a range of clients and industries, as well as within the business
    • A knack for new business - an ability to identify and develop new business opportunities is highly desirable, as is a confident and outgoing attitude
    • Impeccable attention to detail - you must be able to review and proof scripts, design assets, videos and more
    • Following existing processes and developing new, improved ones - we're always open to suggestions that will make everyone's lives easier
    • Proactive and incredibly organised, with strong time management and planning skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage and work to demanding deadlines
    • Innovative with a creative eye and a passion for video
    • Experience on set or setting up video shoots is desirable
    • Ability to work from our Old St office 3 days a week, (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday), with 2 days working from home (Wednesday & Friday)

    Knowledge

    • Advanced in Word, Excel & PowerPoint or equivalent Mac apps
    • Excellent Google Drive skills
    • Knowledge of video platforms such as Frameio & YouTube
    • Excellent grasp of the English language (both written and verbal)
    • Experience working in a commercial B2B environment is preferable
