BTG Accountancy & Finance are working with a well-established business in derby that is seeking a ambitious part accountant to join their management accounts team.

Your new role as management accountant will see you looking after the management accounts for a global manufacturing business and will include reporting and business partnering opportunities.

This role is perfect for a PQ accountant eager to continue their development into management accounts.
This role will give you a broad range of duties, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing management accounts and reporting for designated Site(s)
Preparing the Budget for the designated Site(s) according to the Group timetable
Supporting the annual audit process
Driving commercial and financial awareness across the designated Sites and offering financial insight into commercial arrangements.
Monitoring Site performance against targets, understanding and reporting variances, identifying risks and opportunities.
Developing KPI measures to support enhanced financial awareness and accountability at a Site level.
Holding responsibility for Site ledgers and maintaining standard costs.
Providing supplemental support at month end with a range of further responsibilities for all sites, including intercompany reconciliation process and volume reporting
Ad hoc projects, including the development of a new ERP system
