    A quick look at the role

    The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for the commercial relationship between Biffa and its corporate clients in the construction and utilities sector. The role will cover financial performance, strategic growth and development, contractual negotiations, meeting the relevant KPI's and SLA's, compliance, customer satisfaction and retention, execution of the strategic account plans and innovative solutions.

    Your core responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring strategic business account plans are implemented, service success, contract compliance, retention and pricing negotiations.
  • Retention of corporate clients, through positive relationships and growth of service provision to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue for the full year. This will involve managing the tender and / or benchmarking (preparation, editing and delivery) and Response for Information (RFI) processes for clients and identifying new development opportunities to deliver profitable growth.
  • Attend customer reviews and present detailed management information and advice on waste management programs.
  • Conduct and complete relevant site audits and analyse and interpret data to create action plans for subsequent presentation to client.
  • Build customer confidence by creating solid and stable multi-level relationships
  • Possess a high level of sector expertise and understanding to subsequently identify new business development opportunities within a client's business for Biffa to add value to the relationship.
  • Ensure customer debt position is maintained in line with contractual commitments.
  • Proficient engagement at all levels to enable negotiation, influencing and communication both internally and externally to deliver long term benefit to all parties.
  • Understand and apply commercial and financial principles with regards to issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value.

  • Previous experience in a large scale account management environment
  • Confident with all Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint
