We are currently looking for a Large and small format digital press operator with finishing capabilities and graphic application


Role Summary:
Being able to rip jobs ready for printing, rectify and fix any export artwork issues. Digital print onto various substrates, setting up and running Digital and finishing machinery. Finishing, packing and dispatching to a high level of quality and consistency.

A full understanding of material knowledge with very little waste, while in production (this will be with on the job training).

Graphic application on clients site & flexibility to do other jobs when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• To be able to do basic artwork setup ready for print.
• To operate Digital printers, Laminators and cutting machinery to a high level of quality.
• To be able to finish, pack and dispatch completed jobs.
• To ensure relevant company procedures and Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.

Core Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for someone that has a level of experience and is willing to learn more to better themselves from the Digital Printing and Signage industry.

We are looking to do on the job training to help the new member of staff meet the requirement.

Hours of Work:37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with half hour lunch break * with the flexibility to change working hours or do overtime, to meet the job required deadline.
