    Our client is a reputable international law firm are now looking for a collaborative and solutions focused Senior HR Advisor to join their team in their busy London office on a 3-month temporary basis.

    The primary focus of this role is to provide day to day HR business partner support to one of the firms practice groups, working closely with the HR Manager and HR Advisor.

    Providing regional leadership to the rest of the HR Business Partnering team to ensure the successful delivery of aspects of annual processes and the implementation of strategic change initiatives and projects, collaborating closely with HRBP Managers and Advisers.


    Key Duties Include:
    Acting as a trusted adviser and sounding board for lawyers and partners.
    Participating in management meetings to facilitate the resolution of operational people issues and to help drive the people strategy.
    Producing and analysing data to support decision-making and making recommendations for change as appropriate.

    Acting as the first point of contact for lawyers in relation to HR issues; provide guidance and support to ensure that all employee issues are resolved, with the emphasis on building excellent relationships and instilling trust.

    Co-ordinating the delivery of performance management, performance review and salary review and bonus processes.
    Assisting with the successful implementation of new employment policies and practices.

    Encouraging leaver feedback, conducting exit interviews and support the HR Manager in identifying potential solutions for trends identified from exit feedback.

    Acting as a champion for mental health and provide proactive support for lawyers requiring assistance under the firm's global mental health strategy.

    Supporting investigations and disciplinary and grievance hearings across the London office as required.

    Co-ordinating the delivery and communications of annual talent and salary reviews across Disputes and all other London Practice Groups with support from the HR Manager(s) and Reward team as required.

    Supporting annual headcount planning/budgeting with Finance.

    Refer to this budget when identifying resourcing needs in the business and work with the Recruitment team to provide cost efficient and effective recruitment solutions.

    Deputising for the HR Manager as needed while actively supporting the development of the HR Adviser.

    Supporting the HR Manager in succession planning, identifying potential talent to be considered as nominees for development programmes or promotion opportunities.

    Supporting the HR Manager with local actions to drive cultural change initiatives e.g. furthering D&I initiatives in line with Disputes people strategy.

    The Senior HR Advisor will ideally have a 3 years' HR experience, preferably within professional services along with a sound understanding of current employment legislation.

    It is essential to demonstrate strong influencing & negotiating skills while being able to work in a high-pressured environment and make sound commercial decisions.

    Any experience of leading junior team members will be advantageous. The right candidate will possess an empathetic approach and be proficient in Microsoft Office suite skills.

    The Senior HR Advisor will be a confident, pro-active professional with an innovative and credible approach in dealing with sensitive matters.
