Position Description

We need a passionate GIS Software Developer to join us, working with highprofile public and commercial clients, building systems that make the everyday easier.

That's not to say yours aren't important too and in a post-pandemic world, we want to extend the offer of an open discussion to you as to whether a role can be office or home-based, flexible or hybrid.

There will be an initial on-site induction period in Chippenham, with the flexibility for fully remote working thereafter.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key duties include:

Design, code, integrate, test and deploy software as part of an Agile team
Identify and fix bugs within the codebase
Demonstrate software solutions to clients or their representatives

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must have:

Python / Django

- .Net (Core)

ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise
ESRI Experience Builder / ESRI Web App Builder
React /JavaScript / CSS

Experience with a mix of some of the following is beneficial:

FME / OGR / GDAL
DevOps (Azure / AWS)
Kubernetes / Docker
Ubuntu / RedHat
FOSS4G (GeoServer, PostGIS, GeoNode, Openlayer, Leaflet)
ESRI Network Analyst
GIS Desktop (ESRI ArcGIS Pro/ QGIS)
Oracle / Oracle Spatial
MS SQL Server / Spatial Extension

All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.
