    AMPAP Quality Documentation Engineer

    We are currently recruiting for an AMPAP Quality Documentation Coordinator with strong PPAP knowledge, to work on a specialist project, based on-site at a luxurious automotive manufacturer in Warwickshire.

    This project is initially 12 months; however it is likely to be extended or successful candidates could be utilised on other projects as they become available. To start immediately.

    Key roles and responsibilities

    The AMPAP Quality Documentation Coordinator will:

    ·Review and approve PPAP submissions, ensuring compliance with APQP requirements.

    ·Coordinate with suppliers to speed up and manage PPAP/IMDS submissions.

    ·Carry out technical administrative tasks related to automotive manufacturing.

    ·Liaise with suppliers for timely submission and approval of PPAP documentation and support on quality standards.

    ·Manage supplier relationships, organising regular meetings to discuss AMPAP progress.

    ·Collaborate with internal teams to communicate progress and address concerns.

    ·Assist with new product launches and integrate them smoothly.

    The successful candidate will have a strong documenting background with excellent PPAP experience. You must have strong, technical administration ability and be confident liaising with suppliers. Ideally your experience will have been gained within the Automotive industry or relatable industries.

    The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

    ·Automotive Part Manufacturing Experience.

    ·Proficiency in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) including knowledge of the 18 elements.

    ·Experience in Supplier Quality Management and utilising 8D problem-solving principles.

    ·Strong negotiation skills to effectively obtain results and resolve concerns with suppliers.

    ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    ·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for report creation.

    ·Ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate initiative.

    Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

    Duration: 12 months

    Salary: £ £30.00 per hour (Inside IR35)

    Benefits: On site parking

    Working hours :

    Monday – Friday

    39 hours per week

    7am- 4pm (with some flex if needed)

    Remote position although will need to be in office every day to begin with.

    This project falls inside IR35. The rates above are based on umbrella pay rates.
