The post holder will work alongside a senior Crisis Line practitioner, Crisis Assessment Team Practitioner (CAT) and the Clinical Service Lead (SCL).

This post is attractive for a psychology graduate aiming for an applied psychology career.

The post holder will provide a telephone based crisis and support service to all who call the crisis line whether they be an existing service user, someone who has not previously used services or the carer of someone who has mental health problems.

This includes providing advice to the Police, LAS and other professionals.

They will ensure that all relevant documentations are completed and data relating to all calls received are recorded and collated.

The post will involve liaison with both internal and external stakeholders including wards, community teams, social care, GP's, NHS 111, NHS 999 and the Police.
