About the project:

Construction of a new 2.4km dual carriageway connecting the M42 and A45 near Birmingham Airport
Six new bridges, several retaining walls and a pedestrian underpass
Demolishing one existing bridge over M42 and several gantries
Constructing new gantries over the M42 and A4
Modifications to existing road networks

The role:

You will be the Sub Agent / Section Engineer for the construction of drainage systems site wide.

These works will involve establishing compounds, implementing temporary works solutions, completing surveys, constructing piped drainage systems, constructing attenuation tanks and ponds, installing pumping stations and commissioning and testing the networks.

Earthworks, pavement and utilities is done by others, but you are expected to interface closely with them.

You will be supported by the Agent (among others).

You are expected to take ownership of the works, leading the detailed planning and ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with the design and contract scopes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
Digital competence (MS Office, document control systems, site digital tools).
