Responsibilities of theDentist

• Provide diagnosis of patientsdental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiologicaltechniques.
• Assess patients dental status andarrange for appropriate consultations to determine treatmentneeded.
• Provide comprehensive professionaldental treatment to address the oral health needs ofpatients.
• Provide routine recall exams simpleextractions restorations prosthetic services prophylaxis andfluoride treatments.
• Refer to dentalspecialists when appropriate.
• Manageadministrative functions of the DentalOffice.
• Supervise the work of dental hygienistsand dental assistants.

Requirementsof the Dentist

• DMD or DDS fromaccredited dental school
• Must have NY licenseand DEA
• Must be willing to live and be part ofthe community of Penfield NY
• Competence in allfacets of general dentistry
• Strong focus onclinical excellence
