Job Role:

Join our dynamic MI (Management Information) team and be part of our responsible growth and development of data assets.

As a contractor in London, you will play a crucial role in driving better decision-making across management levels and contributing to our corporate objectives.

In this role, you will:
Lead change initiatives involving people, processes, technology, and data.
Enable valuable insights from data to support key business processes.
Identify, analyze, enhance, and ensure information systems meet business requirements.
As a contractor, you will also support our incentive scheme, facilitating investment applications, data management, and calculations. Your expertise will help document, track, and implement improvements to the scheme and associated systems.

Ideal candidates for this London-based contractor position should have a strong background in Finance or Investment Management, with expertise in SQL Developement / Engineerning, employee recognition schemes, and compensation plan distribution tools.

Main Duties:
# Review, write and change SQL code
# Conduct successful dry-runs of the incentive scheme with minimal changes.
# Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to identify and capture requirements.
# Analyze and verify requirements, translating them into user stories and specifications.
# Engage stakeholders in approving documentation, utilizing standard templates for efficiency.
# Ensure the developed solutions align with requirements, coordinating with the MI team and other departments.
# Efficiently project manage small projects, ensuring progress is tracked and resolving any issues or dependencies.

Required Job Skills:
In-depth knowledge of SQL development
Proficiency in developing comprehensive documentation with visualizations.
Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and data visualizations.
Familiarity with Data Analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a team and manage data flows.
Experience in training and rolling out new reports/tools.

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Adaptability and the drive to innovate and navigate changing requirements.
Strong critical thinking skills to analyse business problems and translate them into solution requirements.
Business acumen to understand the value of proposed solutions in a business context.
Collaboration skills to foster effective teamwork and collaboration.
