The company This company is at the forefront of academic learning in the field of science and works to support the scientific community in developing new research and making that research available to global organisations. The company workswith Universities including Oxford, Cambridge London and Manchester Universities as well as Universities across France, Spain and Latin America, researchers, PhD students and with non-profits and also with private companies looking to share information onnew discoveries in medicine and science that will help all of humanity

You will work to revenue targets for your territory and this role is a creative and " consultative" sales role with some ( limited) international travel


Your role :

Based in the Commercial Team, you will work with existing ( & some new ) clients to develop fresh solutions to meet the needs of research-related institutions in advertising their new discoveries etc.


  • Your clients are all publicly and privately funded research institutions with the common goal of creating and communicating the highest impact scientific discoveries to the world _

Role:


  • To manage and support a portfolio of public and private research organisations looking for sales solutions within customised publishing and content marketing
  • Understand your clients needs and create bespoke advertising or branding solutions
  • Build seniorlevel relationships with academics, and within governmental and other organisations
  • Design and present custom solutions based on available advertising, publishing or branding products and capabilities.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in editorial, publishing, marketing, production and technology departments
  • Monitor programme delivery and ensure that solutions are executed on time, on budget and to the customer's full satisfaction.
  • Attend scientific industry events to build new customer relationships and cultivate existing ones;
  • Meet your clients face to face and onsite
  • Monitor sales performance and undertake forecasting for your territory
  • Sell digital, print and offline products ( webinars etc)

Requirements:


  • Fluent French OR Spanish
  • Proven track record of B2B key account management and business development.
  • Ideally a background in academic, nonprofit, government sectors and corporate institutions
