    OpticoreIT is a specialist IT services consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within challenging and exciting environments across our client base varying from Large Enterprisesto FTSE 100 spanning across multiple verticals including Finance, Media, Telecommunications and much more.

    The Project Practice at OpticoreIT is growing Traditionally the OpticoreIT Project Delivery Team has picked up projects within this client however, as we have grown the account, there is the opportunity to create a larger PM presence within this account which means we are looking for an established Network PM to come in and run multiple projects with this account, ranging across numerous networking technologies.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Define, plan, document and communicate project scope, implementation, closure and timelines.
    • Representing Opticores Network Project Services both internally and externally to a very high professional standard
    • Engage and communicate effectively and successfully with all stakeholders.
    • Discuss requirements and define the solution by working with other IT teams.
    • Implement projects to the required level of quality
    • Managing the projects through their lifecycle, coordinating all input from IT teams
    • Report on project status using suitable reporting tools.
    • Effectively and proactively manage and report on all project risks (including contingency planning), taking corrective action where necessary.
    • Solicit and gain buy-in from project stakeholders to project approach and delivery objectives.
    • Undertake post-project quality reviews.
    • Work with technical staff & resources as required.

    What you'll bring:

    • A proven history of delivering the full project life-cycle from initiation, implementation and closure within a networking/infrastructure environment, using methodologies suitable for the projects undertaken.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with experience of communicating technical issues to senior staff.
    • The ability to effectively manage project quality and to ensure a consistently high degree of successful project delivery within resource, time and cost constraints.
    • Strong knowledge of Change Control (change control processes and workflow, raising changes and risk associated with change).
    • Proven ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical teams and individuals.
    • A high standard of personal presentation with the ability to imbue confidence in colleagues and clients.
    • A highly proactive self-starting ethos, with a strong customer focus.
    • Outstanding team skills, with the ability to effectively support colleagues.
    • Exemplary coordination skills and the ability to understand business drivers / IT requirements.
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
