    Description

    Barnsley Recruitment Services Ltd are currently working with a global Textiles company based in Leeds who Design and Manufacture Textile Dyeing and Testing Instruments.

    Due to continued growth you will be joining their company at a time when there will be exciting opportunities as they expand into new markets.


    Salary:
    £26,944.00-£35,000.00 per year

    25 Days holidays plus bank holidays.

    Where will you work?

    On some occasions, you will be based in their offices near Leeds, providing support services to their global customer base, on other occasions they would expect you to make customer site / service visits as well as being involved in design and build projects.


    Deliver Service activities (which include:
    installation commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance services, calibration services, remote technical support by phone and e-mail to achieve satisfied customers.)Installation and service of textile manufacturing equipment.
    Assist the design department in product development projects.

    Ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and ensure that issues are resolved in the fastest way possible.

    Be responsible for reporting accurately and in a timely manner, all activities as required (e.g. Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.)

    The successful candidate's will possess the following qualities:

    • A minimum of an Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship ideally with HNC/HND level of education or equivalent experience in an engineering subject.

    The ability to work independently or as part of a teamStrong problem solving skillsThe ability to ensure that others follow instructions and directions through clear accurate communicationsSupport other team members.

    The ability to organize tasks and meet targets.
    A commitment to Health & Safety and Quality standards and their implications in the work place.

    The ability to adopt and promote a Continuous Improvement program to all activitiesDriving LicenseWillingness to travel mainly within the UK but on occasions international travel to countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Tunisia, etc.
