    HGV Class 1 Shunters Wanted In SHERBURN


    Logistics Peopleare looking for HGV Shunters/HGV Class 1 Shunters /LGV Shunters /LGV Class 1 Shunters /Class 1 Shunters working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Great Bear Sherburn depot .


    Location :
    Sherburn

    Working Hours : 3 On 3 Off 18:00 - 06:00 Shifts Available


    Pay rates:

    • Weekday: A£16.26 P/hr
    • Weeknight: A£17.38 P/hr
    • Saturday: A£19.61 P/hr
    • Sunday: A£20.18 P/hr
    Key Responsibilities

    Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the premises
    Manoeuvre vehicles into loading and unloading bays according to schedules
    Perform pre-operational checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
    Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate movement of goods
    Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
    Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly
    Assist with general yard duties and maintenance tasks as required

    About You


    • You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
    • No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
    • Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
    • Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
    • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
    • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
    • Excellent communication skills
