    Project Director - Commercial Office Projects

    Salary: £120,(Apply online only),000 plus package

    About the Role:
    As a Project Director specialising in Commercial Office projects, you will be entrusted with the overall management and successful delivery of assigned projects within the constraints of time, cost and quality. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring effective day-to-day site operations while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards and industry regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the site team, providing direction, motivation, and support to achieve project objectives.
    • Oversee and coordinate all site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
    • Conduct monthly team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and align activities with milestones.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
    • Represent the company in client meetings, fostering positive relationships and addressing client concerns.
    • Conduct weekly progress meetings with subcontractors, emphasizing health, safety, and training requirements.
    • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Lead Engineers to control costs and maintain project profitability.
    • Mitigate project risks by proactively addressing technical, logistical, and operational challenges.
    • Maintain compliance with construction industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage labor and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and compliant project execution.
    • Develop and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving project needs.
    • Foster positive relations with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project updates and managing expectations.
    • Implement and enforce project standards and methodologies to ensure consistency and quality.
    Requirements:

    1. Proven track record in Mechanical & Electrical contracting with 5-7 years of experience in a Project Management role.
    2. Previous experience in Commercial construction projects is essential.
    3. Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
    4. Strong knowledge of design and construction processes.
    5. Familiarity with relevant technical standards and regulatory requirements.
    6. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
    7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
