Role SnapshotAs part of this role you will support with the development and delivery of projects including understanding the decision making process, budget monitoring and funding claims.


What you could be part of


Alongside learning the principles of project management, your role will be to provide support for projects delivered by the council's Economic Growth Team, working with colleagues in other departments and external partners.

Projects will be varied as theteam are responsible for a diverse range of activities including supporting local businesses, managing carparks, parks and woodlands, and delivering a range of larger scale projects.

What you'll be doing

You must have
- good numeracy and literacy skills evidenced through five GCSEs of grade C (4) or above, or equivalent, including Maths and English
- a minimum of 48 UCAS points, equivalent qualifications, or experience
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to travel to various sites to support the delivery of projects
- a friendly, well organised nature that would thrive in a busy work environment; and
- be willing to work towards a Level 4 in Project Management at the same time as working for the Council (time for attending classes and studying is provided for)
