Compliance Administratorposition is now available with
Manchester Councilon an initial 3-month temporary contract with options for extensions. Hybrid working is available.


What is the role?
Manchester City Council are now looking for an experienced Compliance Administrator. This is an interesting opportunity to build on your existing HR compliance and administrative skills in a dynamic service.


How can you help?
This Compliance Administrator role is part of Manchester Council's Compliance Team and wider HR OD Operations function.


As part of this team, you will be responsible for supporting the Council meet its statutory obligations as an employer through the monitoring, reviewing, and administration of pre-employment checks.

These will include Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)and Legal Right to Work Checks.

You can also expect to support the broader recruitment and onboarding processes.


What skills do you need?

  • Strong IT skills in a range of Microsoft packages, and experience of using bespoke databases and systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • A background within a HR or Compliance team and dedication in producing high quality work with a good attention to detail.
