This rare east London-based studio is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join them to lead exquisite high-end private residential projects. You'll get to work on special projects with unique clients, creating beautiful homes that blend aesthetics, craft and functionality.

As a small practice, it's a highly creative and collaborative environment, where your role will have a big impact and you'll work across all the aspects of running architectural projects. You'll have exceptional design skills and demonstrable knowledge of bespoke exterior and interior detailing, and be capable of running 1 or 2 such projects at all stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee design development with the team and detailed design development across all RIBA stages with external consultants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with unique clients.
• Strive for design excellence, continuing the high standards of the practice.
• Oversee all technical aspects including details, CDM, planning and Building Control approvals.
• Participate in senior responsibilities including fee proposals.
• Oversee projects on site and undertake Contract Administrator role.

Skills and Experience

• Fully UK trained and qualified ARB/Part III Architect with min. 3 years post qualification experience.
• Excellent design and image making skills, with a background in design-led studios producing high quality projects.
• Familiar with a fast-paced and creative working environment.
• Previous experience in high-end residential and listed building projects essential. Commercial experience beneficial.
• Fluency in Vectorworks 2D, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite on Mac.
• Strong experience at Stages 3-5, with demonstrable technical skills.
• Proven experience running high-end residential projects with contract values of £2m+.
• Previous on-site and Contract Administration experience.
