- Take the lead on producing the monthly CFO and bank reporting packs including resolving Board action points where applicable
- Take the lead on the annual budgeting process for Group Reporting including re-forecasting as required during the year
- Involvement in MI data and reporting requirements for new acquisitions.
- Transforming existing processes such as analysis files so that they run more efficiently, with higher value outputs for senior management.
- Perform complex ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis when required, adding valuable insights to support decision-making.
- Work with the wider team to support data and MI transformation projects to centralise, streamline and automate availability of reporting
- Ad Hoc duties as expected of a Group Forecasting & MI Accountant.
- Holder of a recognised professional accounting qualification or significant experience in a similar role.
- Track record of contributing to a continuous improvement culture and the ability to challenge existing processes and methodologies.
- Sound commercial awareness with the ability to apply common sense to business decision-making.
- Very strong Excel, analytical and communications skills.
- Ability to collaborate with different colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Be comfortable working in a fast paced, large volume, transactional environment with the ability to think creatively to improve on processes.
- High level of attention to detail with significant emphasis on quality of work.
- Proficiency in process mapping and delivery.
