Job Opportunity:
Junior Estimator living within commuting distance of Slough.

On offer is a permanent full time job paying between £23,000 and £28,000 per year (which is negotiable based on experience) and offers onsite parking with offices also located to a train station and once trained flexibility for split home / office working.

Our Client works within the commercial construction sector, is a specialist full package service provider and works for both national and regionally based developers to whom they offer a full design, installation and ongoing maintenance service.

As the Trainee / Graduate Estimator you will be joining a well-established, experienced and growing team, you will receive full initial training and ongoing development to ensure you understand the sector in which they work and the respond to tender opportunities which can range from anything between £100K to £5M+.

As the Junior Estimator you will be:

Measuring PDF drawings using specialist software.
Producing tender documents.
Producing Bills of Quantities.
With more experience attending site visits and tender meetings (as required).
Liaising with clients to gain updates on submitted bids.
Looking to identify areas of risk during the tender process.

To be considered as the Junior Estimator you will need:

The ability to measure drawings and some estimating experience.
Have had some experience of producing Bills of Quantities.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to manage a workload that can consist of several projects at the same time.
To ideally educated to degree / OND / HND (or similar) in a construction, quantity surveying or related sector.
To ideally have your driving licence, if you do not have this presently then you must be living within commuting distance of Slough and be looking to obtain a driving licence in the future, (as this job evolves there will be the requirement to travel and a driving licence will then be needed to be able to drive a company car).
A starting salary of between £23,000 and £28,000 per year.
The opportunity for salary increases as you gain more experience.
