JOB SUMMARY
We have an opportunity for a Assembly Operative to join a great team in our manufacturing site in Lymington.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Working within the team, reporting to the Team Leader, your role is mechanical and electronic assembly and testing using a variety of fixing methods, soldering, screwing and bonding with standard and specialist tooling and bespoke test equipment.


Core requirements

  • Good manual dexterity
  • Good visual acuity
  • PCB assembly / cable assembly
  • Ability to perform a variety of mechanical assembly and wiring
  • Ability to read and understand assembly instructions and drawings
  • Ability to carry out testing, record results and identify issues
  • Attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • Technically minded / analytical
  • Enthusiastic and excellent work ethic

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with potting and bonding
  • Experience within an electronic/mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Skilled use of hand and power tools within assembly process
  • Hand soldering skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £25,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
