- To protect the children from harm in and outside the home.
- To ensure that the children's needs are recognised and met. To act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Home and ensure that any safeguarding concerns are raised in the appropriate manner, and in a timely fashion.
- To ensure that all rotas, training, mentoring and supervisions of staff are kept up to date.
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, schools, and other professionals concerned with the welfare of the children.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to our clients team, running a brand new 3 bed EDB Children's Home in Redditch, Worcestershire.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a managerial role within an Ofsted registered home, which focuses on EBD although my client is open to experienced deputies with the right attitude and shared ethos.
An NVQ Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children's and Young Peoples Services (or the equivalent) is essential.
They will need to be an excellent communicator, the ability to develop good working relationships with their staff team as well as the professionals' teams around the children.
Initial salary of £45,000 pre-registration with a salary of £55,000 offered upon registrationBonus scheme
