    Cornwallis Academy is a 'Good' school on the outskirts of Loose, Maidstone with over 1300 students on roll aged 11 to 18.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to run the library at CornwallisAcademy.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the management anddevelopment of this essential and popular school resource, for fostering a loveof reading and literature throughout the school, for the supervision ofstudents in the library and for supporting academic staff to facilitatestudents' independent study, research and reading for pleasure.

    You will workclosely with the Director of English to ensure that the space continues toflourish and becomes an embedded and integral part to the day-to- day lives ofour students.

    30am and2pm Monday-Friday and on a term time only basis (38 weeks per year).
    Monitoring/organising/communicating toparents/staff about overdue books
    Monitoring students during free/study time
    Leading on library/reading initiatives
