Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Transport Coordinator on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities for the Transport Coordinator:

  • Arrange delivery dates with customers, create delivery notes, & check products before transported
  • Liaise with warehouse staff regarding deliveries, loading dates, and schedules
  • Manage all customer enquiries regarding transport issues, delivery, and collection dates
  • Obtain proof of deliveries and investigate items missing from deliveries
  • Oversee the progress of all deliveries and keep records of all variations
  • Prepare monthly forecasting data
  • Coordinate all goods returned

Skills & Qualifications for the Transport Coordinator:

  • Prior experience as a Transport / Logistics coordinator (desirable)
  • Good IT skills; MS Word, MS Outlook & MS Excel, and using the internet
  • Good CRM / Database experience
  • High level of written and oral English
  • High degree of customer service skills with excellent telephone manner
  • Very good attention to detail
