Description

Responsibilities:
Ø Obtain market price offers & update relevant databases & communication to stakeholders

Ø Develop into the checkpoint for customer costings from a price & availability perspective

Ø Produce month-end reporting with analysis of corrective commercial activities

Ø Preparation & ongoing update of raw material exchange minutes for inter-group discussion

Ø Annual quarterly tender preparation

Ø Assess demand for UK outsourced production and procure raw materials

Ø Maintain customer opportunity development pipeline

Ø Learn the sourcing process to assist commercial purchasing from a proactive perspective

Ø Identify opportunities to improve current ways of working, propose new ideas, and implement new processes looking to automate.

Ø Assist with other tasks.


Mandatory requirements:
Ø Advanced Excel & SAP knowledge - several years of work experience, ideally with a manufacturing company

Ø Strong attention to detail, administration, and organisational skills

Ø Pro-active and solutions-oriented approach

Ø A strong team worker able to spot opportunities for further improvement and grow within the organisation


Desirable requirements:
Ø Manufacturing Resource Planning experience in a manufacturing environment

Ø Process assessment & development in line with purchasing direction needs.
