At Action on Disability we support individuals to employ their own personal assistants (we are not a recruitment agency; we are a support service).


This means that, you will not be employed by Action on Disability, but directly by the individual themselves or by a representative who is acting on their behalf.

Currently we have a client living in Hammersmith and Fulham looking for his personal assistant:

A young adult (aged 23) with autism would like to hire a personal assistant (PA) to assist him to do the following.

Job description
- to assist with shopping
- to assist him to prepare meals for the week.
- to assist him to organise his clothing.
- client is independent, although the PA may need to assist him with some basic cleaning.
- have a cheerful and friendly character
- be willing to be a companion to client
- be able to do things in an efficient way
- be fit enough to walk upstairs, as client lives on the 3rd floor and there is no lift.

Working hours: 5 hours per week, weekdays only


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 5 per week


Salary:
£14.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • No weekends
