    Description

    Join Us as a Procurement and Stock Controller
    Come join a specialized manufacturing company catering to high-end clients. We are seeking a Procurement and Stock Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, the ability to cultivate and sustain effective supplier relationships, and excellent numeracy skills. If you have a thirst for learning, we provide the necessary training.


    Responsibilities of a Procurement and Stock Controller:

    • Seeking out suppliers and negotiating contracts for favorable terms and pricing
    • Placing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
    • Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any arising issues
    • Collaborating with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies
    • Maintaining accurate inventory records through electronic databases
    • Conducting routine stock counts and reconciling discrepancies between physical and recorded levels
    • Monitoring stock levels and initiating reordering to avoid stockouts or overstock situations
    • Implementing inventory optimization techniques to minimize costs while ensuring product availability
    • Inspecting incoming shipments for quality and accuracy
    • Working closely with the quality control team to resolve product issues
    • Implementing quality assurance procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Generating reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and stock movements for management review
    • Maintaining accurate documentation related to procurement
    • Analyzing purchasing and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

    Essentials for a Procurement and Stock Controller:

    • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
