    Job overview

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated governance support analyst to join our busy team on secondment. You have a pivotal role within the team to support staff and patients.

    We are responsible for ensuring patients have access to the complaints system and are responded to in a compassionate and timely manner. The team supports staff to manage and investigate incidents.

    You will work across the team to generate and analyse data using Datix. You will respond to enquiries over email and on the telephone using our WeCare values to deliver a high standard of customer service.

    Main duties of the job

    The post holder will undertake clerical and data processing and analysis base tasks to support the handling and management of individual complaints, incidents, claims, investigations, and risk management in accordance with Barts Health NHS Trust policies and procedures, service processes, procedures and performance standards.

    To provide general administrative support to the site governance team members e.g., obtaining healthcare records, taking minutes at meetings.
    To be responsible for preparing reports for the hospital as directed by the Associate Director of Clinical Governance or line manager.

    To liaise with all members of the teams including, primary, secondary and community teams in addition to other departments and independent contractors.

    To liaise with families in relation to complaints, incidents and serious incidents as necessary.
