- For practitioner Psychologists: Post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) Full registration with Health Professions Council Or for CBT therapists Registration with BABCP as a CBT Therapist with additional specialist training in CBT ED
- Additional specialist training in NICE recommended intervention for Eating Disorders - particularly SSCM, Mantra, or FPT
- Assessed experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of adults of working age with a wide range of presentations of varying severity.
- Experience operational management of psychological therapies services
- Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for client's psychological care and treatment.
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision, including supervision of clinical psychology trainee(s).

Main duties of the job

You will provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment including a range of group and individual psychological interventions, and supervise others doing similar as part of our multidisciplinary team.
You will provide very highly specialist support, guidance, and consultation on clients psychological care to other multi-disciplinary professionals.
You will work with the leadership team to ensure our care pathways are delivered seamlessly and offer excellent care and outcomes for those who need our support.
You will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures.
You will utilise research skills for audit, teaching, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.
