- Follow formulation protocols to support in-house evaluation of therapeutic delivery
- Propose, plan and execute experiments aiding product development
- Develop analytical assays
- Accurately record and report experimental results
- Apply technical and scientific skills to present findings in a concise and effective manner
- Proactively look for and read scientific literature to enhance understanding of projects
- Assist general laboratory management and maintenance
- Follow standard operating procedures and comply with health and safety rules
- A Masters degree in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or equivalent chemical sciences
- Experience working in an industrial R&D environment is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with nanoparticle production and characterisation
- Experience in bio-conjugation
- Strong theoretical and practical chemistry skills
- Excellent record keeping skills with attention to detail
- Proficient IT and data analysis skills
- Ability to work independently but also collaboratively within a team
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
