Are you a Learning and Development Manager looking for new and exciting permanent part-time opportunity working in the non-profit sector? Would you like to work for one of London's most historic buildings on a hybrid basis?

The organisation is a leading venue for tourism in London and one of Britain's most famous and beautiful buildings.

They attract over one million visitors a year from around the world, who attend events, services and tours that take place on a daily basis.


They have around 290 friendly and interesting staff members along with a huge number of passionate volunteers that help make the organisation the wonderful place it is.


The part-time Learning and Development Manager paying £45,000 pro rata per annum (28 hours per week) will create, develop and design an L&D approach that is effective for all staff and volunteers.

The key responsibilities of this part-time Learning and Development Manager include:

  • Creating and managing all aspects of the L&D process, including planning and ongoing implementation.
  • Reviewing and assessing both individual, departmental and organisational learning and development needs in collaboration with the Head of HR.
  • Drawing on current thinking in L&D to create content and resources that are modern and engaging.
  • Plan the annual training calendar and other learning and development activities.
  • Champion health and wellbeing strategies and other strategies that enable staff to be their best and create a working environment where everyone can thrive and flourish.
  • Working with the Heads of department to drive induction, orientation and the successful onboarding of new staff.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development professional, looking for a part-time role where they can make a huge impact on an organisation.

The Learning and Development Manager will have a track record of designing and deliveringtraining along with being able to produce training data and reports.

You will be able to build strong relationships across the organisation and be encouraged to come up with new and exciting L&D ideas that will benefit the organisation.
