- Assist in creating financial planning solutions based on client objectives
- Prepare suitability letters in line with agreed recommendations
- Complete client review work within the required timescales
- Analyse client investment portfolios and prepare supporting documentation for client review meetings
- Collaborate with advisers and support staff to ensure new business submitted and ongoing servicing levels meet with required standards
- Collate, check and maintain client files in accordance with compliance requirements
- Ensure that recommended contracts and investments are implemented as per advice provided
- Contribute to investment research and attend fund manager and investment meetings as required
- Attend technical knowledge seminars and investment meetings as required
- Communicate professionally with clients as required
- Other tasks as required to aid the smooth running of the business
- Maintain an up to date and accurate CPD record
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to analyse data and statistics
- Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with investments, pensions and protection products
- Ability to conduct research for appropriate providers and investments
- Good understanding of compliance issues
- Good organisational and time management skills including being able to deal with a number of tasks at once and prioritise work accordingly.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and work in a team environment
- Have a responsibility for good time keeping and be prepared to work beyond the standard office hours in certain situations where work is time critical
- To be committed to the principle and ethos that the client always comes first
