    Company Profile:

    Job Overview:
    As the successful Senior Toolmaker, your main function will be to manufacture New Tooling with Design input as required, and undertake tool repairs and maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manufacture new tooling and ancilliary spares to support production activity.
    • Responsible for the repair, maintenance and improvement of press tools and injection mould tools.
    • Evaluate repair jobs to determine extent of work involved in order to return tool to Production.
    • Plan your work effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the Toolroom and the business, as a whole, and to ensure costs are kept within budget and to achieve key dates whist maintaining the highest quality of workmanship.
    • Operate manual mills, grinders and lathes and CNC Machinery as required.
    • Use of calibrated measuring equipment and understanding of Engineering Tool drawings.
    • To comply with all current working instructions operable within the business.
    • Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the business whilst carrying out your duties.
    • Carry out any reasonable task that falls within your capabilities.
    • Assist in training other members of the team as required.
    Hours of Work:
    • 40 hours per week
    • 7 am to 3.30 pm (Monday to Friday)
