As a Drug & Alcohol Recovery Coordinator your purpose is to help improve the health & wellbeing of people with a range of substance misuse difficulties.

While the role is dynamic and challenging, we will support you to develop further skills you need to thrive in the role.

As a drug and alcohol Recovery Coordinator you will manage a mixed caseload, undertake assessments, develop recovery plans, monitor prescribing interventions, and support individuals to make changes in their substance use and to help people reach their true potential.

About you

You may have experience within the substance misuse sector or have transferable skills and be looking for a change.

We are looking for people with excellent communication skills and flexibility to take on an extremely varied and rewarding role.

You will have knowledge and awareness of the factors impacting individuals who misuse substances.


Interacting with patients and the public you will be confident in giving clinical information and advice that improves their experience.

Dealing with sensitive information daily, you will understand the importance of data security.

You will often work under pressure and without direct supervision, so we are looking for someone confident and capable. You will prioritise tasks, and manage your own workload and report to the clinical team lead/line manager.
