    Description

    Job Description

    The Electrician will provide electrical and building services engineering maintenance to a client property(s). This will include electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation on the client site(s). The emphasis is on providing a world-class building services maintenance service.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed
    2. Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams
    3. Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
    4. Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations
    5. Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed
    6. Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete projects
    7. Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job
    8. Identifying electrical problems and repairing them

    Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

    Electrical Craft Apprenticeship with relevant qualifications and 5 years' subsequent experience
    High or Low Voltage Appointed Person (desirable)
    Electrical 18th Edition Course (desirable)
    Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, PPM, installation and inspection/testing.
    Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties.
    Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
