One of the UK's leading insurance companies seeks an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join their Commercial team as a Senior Underwriting Technician.

They seek a dynamic and motivated individual that seeks a challenge and is looking for career progression.

You will act as one of the most senior referral points within the Regional Underwriting team, dealing with complex referrals across a variety of commercial products for both new and existing business.

You will monitor and report on technical activity andcapability of the Underwriting teams and will work with the Team Leader collaboratively to build on this capability through effective training and coaching.

About You

You will have extensive previous commercial underwriting experience and you will be familiar with handling more complex cases and referrals whilst supporting more junior team members with their development.
As well as a strong technical background, you will also be able to demonstrate stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence where necessary.
