Description

We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for two emerging researchers with a passion for sustainability looking to use their skills to make a positive impact on the surface transport industry.


You will join the Tribology team, further strengthening our strong international research profile and our reputation for novel, research-led teaching.

You will have expertise in any aspect of experimentation or theoretical modelling that can complement our existing activity.


As a lecturer, you will conduct a programme of research, attracting external funding, publishing high-quality papers, attending conferences and seminars.

You will also carry out teaching duties including designing, delivering, assessing and reviewing teaching programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
