    Description

    As a member of our kitchen team you would be expected to;

    • Prepare, cook and present dishes to existing specifications
    • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking station
    • Work independently or/and as part of a team
    • Optimize the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
    • Ensure to have and maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and follow the rules of health and safety
    • Monitor portion and waste control
    • Manage stock rotation
    • Work across the different sections of the kitchen (pass, pans, grill, fryer etc)
    • Adhere to opening and closing routines

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    • Experience in a Chef role, ideally within Mediterranean cuisine (Tapas/Mezes)
    • Knowledge of best cooking practices
    • Experience of different cooking methods using a range of equipment and ingredients
    • Able to work under pressure
    • The ability to build effective and constructive relationships
    • The ability to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
    • Relevant food handling qualifications
