- Prepare, cook and present dishes to existing specifications
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking station
- Work independently or/and as part of a team
- Optimize the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
- Ensure to have and maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitor portion and waste control
- Manage stock rotation
- Work across the different sections of the kitchen (pass, pans, grill, fryer etc)
- Adhere to opening and closing routines
- Experience in a Chef role, ideally within Mediterranean cuisine (Tapas/Mezes)
- Knowledge of best cooking practices
- Experience of different cooking methods using a range of equipment and ingredients
- Able to work under pressure
- The ability to build effective and constructive relationships
- The ability to communicate clearly, professionally and concisely
- Relevant food handling qualifications
- Competitive rates of pay based around 180 hours per month (dependent on experience, skill set and application etc)
