Spencer Clarke Group are working alongside a Top 100 not for profit company in London to help secure them a Head of Group Finance on a Fixed Term Contract.

As Head of Group Finance you will be responsible for all aspects of processing financial transactions, accounting, reporting, financial systems and internal controls for the company and all of its subsidiaries and branches.

Line manager of the finance teamof 5, reporting to the Director, Finance. A lead role in financial planning, budgeting and analysis and acting as a key financial advisor to directors.

The ideal individual will be a qualified accountant and have both public sector and commercial experience.

Budgeting and Forecasting
Systems and Controls
Accounting
Reports and Audit
Tax
Process Improvement

To be considered for this role you'll have/bring:

Qualified accountant
Excel modelling capability
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV accounting system and systems integration/implementation
Ability to prepare financial statements
Good understanding of UK VAT and Corporation Tax
Experience of public sector/grant funded bodies/not for profit accounting
Proven ability to manage projects and deadlines
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams
Highly organised, dependable and accountable
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to requirements
Ability to focus on detailed analysis as well as high level summary reporting
Effective communicator
Excellent problem solving capabilities

What's on offer

Salary:£68,000 to £70,000 per year

Benefits:30 days annual leave, pension, hybrid working (2 in office, 3 at home)
