Due to new investment a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring therapy assistant to join a well established therapy team on critical care based at Aintree.

You will work under the supervision of qualified staff and will have access to regular supervision and appraisal.


You will work across the four therapy professions (speech therapy, OT, physio and dietitics) and will receive competency training in all areas.

Therapy assistants work alongside clinicians to support our patient care and promote their rehabilitation.

As a band 4 Assistant practitioner you will receive essential competency training to be able to provide therapeutic assessments and treatment independently under guidance from qualified staff.

You will be trained to record this activity in patients clinical records.


You will develop clinical knowledge and skills across the four Therapy professions (speech therapy, OT, Physio and dietitians) working on Critical care.


You will play a key role in the organisation and maintenance of therapy equipment and materials as well as supporting environmental care and maintenance.
