What we're looking for
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and promoting a positive work culture.
Your expertise in conflict resolution, employee engagement, and employment law will contribute to maintaining healthy relationships between employees and the organization.

The role
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees and management on employee relations matters, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and unbiased outcomes while adhering to legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and managers to address performancerelated concerns and develop appropriate action plans.
- Advise and coach managers on handling employee issues, conflict resolution, and the interpretation of employment policies and practices.
- Support the development and implementation of employee relations programs and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
- Stay informed about employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to employee relations, and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on employee relations topics, including diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, and respectful workplace practices.
- Monitor and analyse employee relations data, trends, and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to employee relations activities, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and practices in employee relations, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills in the field.
What you bring
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
- Experience in Labor Relations and or HR Policy is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or a similar role, preferably in a fastpaced and diverse organization.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact, discretion, and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to investigate complex employee relations issues and provide effective solutions.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate employee relations issues and develop strategies to address them.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with HR software and tools.
- Strong commitment to fostering a positive work culture and promoting employee engagement and wellbeing.
- Proven experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or a similar role, preferably in a fastpaced and diverse organization.
