Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Pro Rated

Location: You can work from any Cyfannol Women's Aid space, your home or community locations in order to meet the requirements of your role.

Working Pattern: This role is to be worked between Monday
  • Friday however, there is flexibility on start, finish and break times.

L5 CIPD Qualification is essential

_All staff must work flexibly on occasions to meet the needs of the organisation._

Purpose of the Post:

This post will be a first point of contact for people related issues and assist with the day-to-day operations of the people function:

  • Employee Relations
  • Policy
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Training and Development
  • Data Analysis
  • Strategic/Project Support

Employee Relations:


  • Advise managers on ER topics in line with employment law, providing key support on the process.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining positive working relationships between the organisation and its team members. Ensuring that people practices are always fair and consistent.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance processes operationally.

Policy:


  • Collaborate on policy work, where you will identify gaps, monitor, review, and update policies in line with employment law and organisational changes.
  • Identify improvements to existing policies and procedures.
  • Implement policy throughout the organisation.
  • Deliver policy related training.

Recruitment and Selection:


  • Advise on recruitment processes and provide support to ensure they are carried out in line with the organisations expectations and the equality act 2010.
  • Offer proactive recruitment assistance.

Training and Development:


  • Contribute to the CPD of team members throughout the organisation
  • Collaborate on the delivery of people services workshops
  • Contribute to structured induction days for all new team members

Data Analysis:


  • Monitor key metrics in relation to absence, turnover and equal opportunities, raising concerns and ideas to your line manager.
  • Contribute to the preparation of board reports quarterly.

Strategic/Project Support:


  • Contribute to the organisations overarching strategy, more specifically the people and culture strategy and the EDI strategy.
  • Be a key collaborator on any project work designated to you by your manager.

Other:


  • Provide cover for the People Services Assistant in times of leave
  • Demonstrate and promote the organisation's ethos, vision and values
  • Keep abreast of regulation changes within HR related topics, attend training, develop networks to support development in the role
  • Contribute to the protection and enhancement of the organisation's reputation
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision and appropriate training
  • Work within the Organisation's Policies and Procedures
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required as requested by your line manager

The ability to drive or travel within a reasonable timeframe is essential
