    Account Manager - Pipelines & Power Stations

    Location: Remote with travel to Neath or Middlewich Penspen office

    Salary: £35k+ (Negotiable) dependent on experience + Flexible benefits of your choice £1175 + Car Allowance £4500

    Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Account management experience or relevant customer facing role
    • Excellent communicator both written and verbally
    • Self-motivated and proactive
    • Competent in the use of Microsoft Applications
    • Experienced in managing teams and resolving process related issues

    Qualifications:

    • Good standard of general education
    • Proficient in Microsoft suite products – specifically excel

    Main Purpose of Role:

    To ensure that all contracted projects are delivered to the required standard and ensuring that each project delivers excellent customer satisfaction within the contracted parameters of the project. The role will be required to fulfill all financial requirements, upsell future opportunities and maintain a positive working relationship with our clients. The role will inform and update the Director Asset Management on the health of the contract and solutions on improvement opportunities. The Account Manager will also inform Business Development of any potential upselling opportunities, consolidating a One Penspen approach.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing the portfolio of projects and contracted agreements
    • Communicate monthly KPI's for the contract to the broader management group and Director AME
    • Provide solutions to the client on any negative variance to the contract and KPI
    • Deliver excellent customer satisfaction
    • Meet regularly face to face with clients
    • Provide weekly and monthly updates on contract Risks, Resourcing and Results
    • Work collaboratively with Project Coordinator and Project Engineers to ensure contractual commitments are delivered
    • Provide updates on overall project performance as part of the governance structure
    • Promote the culture of continuous improvement by completing actions and communicating results
    • Establish regular and clear communication channels at all levels within the organisation
    • Work directly with the proposals team and Director, Strategy and Client Engagement to ensure that all future bids are fit for purpose and meet the required business growth objectives
    • Work with the scheduling group in reviewing utilization models against future project delivery requirements
    • Responsible for project performance and driving continuous improvement of project management processes and practices
    • Visit field locations as and when required to engage with field staff during the execution of project work
    • Contribute to external or internal audits as required
