Description

As a SeniorTechnician - Security with Paladin Technologies, you willcollaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), andimplement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers andSales Teams to complete installations.

This role requires theability and know how to properly complete the installation, understandand follow the BOM, and be capable ofmaking adjustmentsor findingalternative solutions as needed to complete installations to clientsatisfaction.

Though based inKitchener you may be required to travel to job sites throughout theregion.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installing and servicing electronic security systems,including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms
Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning,troubleshooting, and maintenance
Prepares and executesAcceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future serviceneeds
Assist in system designand layout
Providecustomer with training for proper system usage, and respond totechnical inquiries
Relationship building with clients andprospects for future opportunities
Administrative dutiesincluding project updates to Project Managers, completing and filingall project documentation
Mentoring, coaching, and trainingof other technicians
Site leadership of Technician crews
Support, lead, and mentor junior team members
Youmay be required to be "on-call" before or after your regularlyscheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduledto work
You may be required to work "night shifts" whenneeded based on project/service requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimumof 8-10years of experience in a technicalrole within the integrated security industry
Postsecondarytraining in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
Vendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ValidDriver's License with clean abstract
Abilityto use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry
Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
Capable ofprolonged standing/walking
Able to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
