We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Technician to join our Client's fast-paced Production team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to help drive growth in our manufacturing and operations activities.

You should be a hands-on, practical team player with an eye for detail and high-quality standards.

Initially starting on a temporary basis, the contract could be extended or made permanent for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete incoming and outgoing visual inspection requirements against PCB and PCBA technical and mechanical drawings

• Use workmanship standards IPC-A-610 (acceptability of electronic assemblies) as guidelines during the inspection process and for defect criteria

• Perform PCB measurement evaluation checks against specified criteria using high tech measuring systems, as well as hand held tools such as digital verniers, multimeters and Micrometers etc.

• Record and analyse the outcomes of quality inspections and document on both incoming and final QA inspection trackers

• Take images of all incoming and outgoing product including defective components / PCBs and save to QMS for traceability

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in testing electrical and electronic equipment

• Strong knowledge of testing procedures and methodologies, including data collection and analysis.

• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing and documentation.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.

• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures for working with hazardous materials and environments.
