Role Purpose:


  • To provide a comprehensive property management service to the needs of the business.
  • To oversee the provision of customer focused workplace solutions to the needs of the business.
  • The Social Value team is key partner for the role, alongside the People team regarding an engagement and workplace satisfaction perspective.

Role Responsibilities:


  • To provide a comprehensive Property Management Service.
  • The provision and management of a customer focused Facilities & Support services to the demands of the business
  • Management of major building projects to the demands of the business including fit outs, refurbishments, churn programmes etc.
  • The provision of a Healthy & Safety working environment complying with all statutory regulations.
  • The provision of effective physical security/access control systems at Camelot premises nationwide.
  • To align with the Corporate Responsibility department in strive to Carbon footprint reduction.
  • Rebranding of Tolpits Lane Campus, Pinewood Studio strategy, Watford HQ review and Allwyn office set up in Warrington at SGi facility.

Key Measures of Success:

Strategic Property Guidance: Provide insightful recommendations to Operating Boards for aligning property decisions with long-term business objectives and licensing needs.

Comprehensive Property Management: Lead property-related matters, including acquisition, lease negotiations, rent reviews, and rates appeals, ensuring compliance and strategic fit.

Effective Stakeholder Management: Coordinate discussions, reviews, and negotiations with Landlords, Finance, Occupiers, and suppliers to secure approvals for operating and capital budgets, maintenance programs, and payment schedules.

Financial Insight and Compliance: Collaborate with Finance and external auditors to review rental and dilapidation provisions, ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to requirements.

Customer-Centric Workplace Support: Manage customer-focused Workplace Support services tailored to meet the dynamic business demands of the Camelot group companies.

Reliable Data Centre Operations: Oversee policies, procedures, and day-to-day operations of Data Centres to maintain operational excellence, providing reliable services throughout the year.

Dynamic Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and develop the Workplace Services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.

Innovation and Efficiency Enhancement: Continuously explore benchmarking, innovative solutions, and alternative processes to elevate service quality while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Financial Management and Supplier Relations: Conduct annual contract negotiations with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with SLAs and evaluating performance through regular reviews.

Transparent Communication and Collaboration: Routinely update the business on ongoing issues, projects, and progress, while collaborating closely with IT to address any Data Centre-related concerns.

Budget Oversight and Resource Allocation: Skilfully manage annual operating budgets, strategically allocating resources for major building projects, such as refurbishments, office setups, and closures.

Safety, Compliance, and Sustainability Champion: Lead the provision of a Healthy & Safe working environment that complies with regulatory standards and actively drive initiatives for reducing energy consumption, waste, and carbon footprint in alignment with Social Value targets.
